「七年級生」林葆靈在藝術畫壇如一顆閃亮新星，以「光影」為創作重心，紫色調風格「沁」出紅與藍對立色彩融合的張力，即日起在索卡藝術中心推出「夜照亮了夜」個展，作品描繪城市，也反映他內歛溫和特質。
林葆靈於2011年拿下金車新銳油畫獎第一名， 在美國佛蒙特藝術中心駐村創作時，獨樹一格的水墨表現技法，將城市夜景，化為轉瞬即逝的光影流動，令人耳目一新。林葆靈說，擅於紫色基調，來自內心喜歡紅與藍二種顏色對立融合，包容事物的顯象表徵，對他個人成長與創作而言，更是一種學習過程。
這次索卡藝術中心展出林葆靈個展，除了城市夜景外，更多了遊樂園歡樂題材，呈現豐富多元的創作風貌，有不同層次的語彙表現。展期至3月31日，電話06-2973957。

"The Night Illuminates the Night": Solo Exhibition by Lin Bao-ling

As a rising star in the art world, "Generation Y" artist Lin Bao-ling focuses his creative energy on "light and shadow." His signature violet-toned style beautifully blends the contrasting energies of red and blue, drawing out a captivating tension. His solo exhibition, "The Night Illuminates the Night," is currently on display at the Soka Art Center. The featured works not only depict urban landscapes but also reflect the artist's introspective and gentle character.
Lin won first prize at the King Car New Talent Oil Painting Awards in 2011. During his residency at the Vermont Studio Center in the United States, his unique ink-wash technique transformed city nightscapes into fleeting, flowing moments of light and shadow—a style that truly refreshed the art scene. Lin shared that his preference for violet tones stems from a personal love for the harmony found in blending red and blue. For him, integrating these two opposing colors represents an acceptance of how things manifest, which serves as a vital learning process for both his personal growth and creative journey.
This solo exhibition at the Soka Art Center showcases Lin’s classic urban nightscapes alongside new, joyful themes centered around amusement parks.
