取材自台北的師大路
算是第一次試類似全景的構圖
不是自信之作
很多地方都覺得不夠好
辛運地得了今年度基隆市雞籠美展的優等
實屬意外
也要感謝評審的肯定

"此作"城市之夜"呈現強烈之黑白對比 ，天空的黑與建築物的"白"比例適宜，墨韻亦充分展現， 頗能掌握水、墨、宣紙之間之特殊效果與韻味， 誠屬難得佳構也。"

An ink painting completed earlier this year,
inspired by Shida Road in Taipei.
It marks my first attempt at a panoramic composition of this kind.

It’s not a work I feel confident about—
there are many areas I still find lacking.
Fortunately, it received an Honorable Mention at this year’s Keelung Fine Arts Exhibition,
which came as a surprise.
I’m also grateful for the judges’ recognition.

“This work, Night in the City, presents a striking contrast between black and white. The proportion between the dark sky and the ‘white’ of the buildings is well balanced. The tonal qualities of the ink are fully expressed, demonstrating a strong command of the unique interactions and expressive nuances between water, ink, and xuan paper. It is indeed a rare and accomplished piece.”

得獎作品將於10月7日至11月8日於基隆文化中心3樓藝廊展出
開幕茶會及頒獎典禮則訂於10月11日下午2時於文化中心大廳舉辦
