About the Catalogue The Light of Freedom

This catalogue exclusively features 175 works accumulated by Lin Bao Ling from 2016 to 2022, along with the artist’s statement from his latest solo exhibition The Light of Freedom. It also includes essays by Chen Kuang-Yi, Full Professor at the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan University of Arts; Kuo Yi-Hsuan from the Research and Development Department of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts; Soka Art curator Lin Chia-Hsuan; and the artist’s mother, Chai Leu-Huey. Each essay approaches Lin Bao Ling’s practice from a distinct perspective, offering rich and compelling insights throughout.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
