Soka Art is honored to announce its participation in Art Basel Hong Kong. As one of the most influential art events in Asia, the fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where we will present a carefully curated roster of artists at Booth 1B01. We warmly invite you to visit us from March 25–29, 2026.

The works on view extend from natural landscapes and life journeys to observations of society, transforming reflections on our lived environment into profound visual narratives. Through layered explorations of existence and spirit, the exhibition articulates multiple dimensions of being.

Scenery Is More Than a Representation of Landscape — Lin Bao-Ling

Lin Bao-Ling’s work is grounded in real-world imagery such as nocturnal and snowy landscapes. He transforms urban light and the coolness of nature into poetic and fluid visual experiences. His paintings exist between figuration and abstraction—recognizable, yet drifting dreamlike. By merging the spirit of Eastern ink painting with the spatial sensibilities of Western painting, he expands landscape beyond mere representation, turning it into a field that carries emotion and memory.

His works have been collected by the Ministry of Culture Art Bank, as well as by domestic and international corporations and private collectors. He has also received major recognitions, including the Grand Prize of the Golden Car Oil Painting Award and the Freeman Foundation Asian Artists Fellowship.
