很榮幸能與索卡藝術合作，為索卡要贈予貴賓的 201 瓶龍年威士忌繪製酒標用圖像，完成的畫作便是《金豆開花》。
It is my distinct honor to collaborate with Soka Art. I was invited to create the label artwork for a limited run of 201 bottles of Year of the Dragon whisky, which Soka Art is presenting as exclusive gifts to their VIP guests. The resulting painting is titled Golden Beans Bloom.

關於畫作《金豆開花》
作品靈感來自我在山林中與朋友野營過夜的經驗，並結合了民間傳說〈金豆開花〉。相傳龍王因違背玉帝禁雨令、降雨拯救百姓而遭受重罰。為了報答龍王的恩情，人們努力完成玉帝所提出「金豆開花」的赦免條件，最終在二月二日以爆米花達成使命，使龍王重獲自由。
畫面中，我的自創角色「沒有名字的小傢伙」在夜晚的森林裡升起火，製作爆米花與龍分享。這不只是對傳說的重新詮釋，表達人與自然的和諧相處，也寄託了我對感恩與回報的思考。生命中有許多人幫助過我，正如傳說中的龍王幫助百姓一樣。我希望透過這件作品，向那些曾經幫助過我的朋友表達感謝與祝福。
黑夜籠罩的森林也許令人心生畏懼，但升起火，有食物也有同伴，依然可以是溫馨的場景；如同生活中雖然有許多辛苦甚至令人恐懼的事，但有人情的溫暖，便能繼續努力走下去
About the Painting Golden Beans Bloom
The inspiration for this piece stems from a camping trip I shared with friends in the mountains, interwoven with the traditional folktale When the Golden Beans Bloom. According to legend, the Dragon King was severely punished by the Jade Emperor for defying a drought decree to save the people with rain. To repay his benevolence, the people strove to fulfill the Jade Emperor’s condition for his pardon: making "golden beans bloom." On the second day of the second lunar month, they ingeniously accomplished this by popping corn, thereby restoring the Dragon King’s freedom.
In the artwork, my original character, "The Nameless Little Guy," lights a campfire in the nocturnal forest, popping corn to share with the dragon. This is not only a reinterpretation of the legend that expresses the harmony between humanity and nature, but also a reflection on gratitude and reciprocity. Many people have guided and aided me throughout my life, much like the Dragon King helped the villagers. Through this piece, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude and blessings to the friends who have supported me along the way.
A forest shrouded in darkness can be daunting, but with a crackling fire, good food, and companionship, it becomes a scene of warmth and comfort. Similarly, while life presents many hardships and fears, the warmth of human connection gives us the strength to keep moving forward.

藝術家林葆靈筆下的「沒有名字的小傢伙」誕生於 2006 年。他無名、赤裸、帶著傷、無瞳孔，有著很深的黑眼圈、無手指，總是出沒在夜色中。這小傢伙有時哭，有時笑，時而迷茫，時而頑強。他不僅在黑暗裡摸索尋找光與溫暖，也試著自己創造它們，並學習與黑暗共處。

About "The Nameless Little Guy"
"The Nameless Little Guy," a character brought to life by artist Lin Bao Ling in 2006, is nameless, naked, scarred, and pupilless, characterized by deep dark circles around his eyes and a lack of fingers. Constantly wandering through the night, he sometimes weeps, sometimes smiles, at times lost in bewilderment, and at others, fiercely resilient. He not only gropes through the darkness in search of light and warmth, but also strives to create them himself, learning to coexist with the dark.
